This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from ikranrinmakan.com (the "Site").
Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Additionally, when you make a purchase, subscribe to the Icon Mail Club, or request a commission through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, processed securely by Stripe), and email address. We refer to this information as "Order Information".
When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect to fulfil any orders or subscriptions placed through the Site — including processing your payment, arranging for shipping, and sending you confirmations and updates. Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you about your order, subscription, or commission;
Screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you've shared with us, send you information about new editions, artwork, and reflections on iconography.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular your IP address), and more generally to understand how visitors find and use the Site, and to assess the effectiveness of our work.
Sharing your personal information
We share your Personal Information with third parties only as needed to run the Site and fulfil your orders. The Site also uses the Facebook Pixel, which may associate your visit with other information Meta holds about you. You can learn about Meta's data practices here: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/. You may opt out of receiving targeted advertising by visiting https://optout.aboutads.info/.
We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Email communications
The only emails we send are individual dispatch notifications — a short personal email from ij@ikranrinmakan.com to let you know your Icon Mail Club package has been sent. We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional messages. These dispatch emails are sent solely as part of fulfilling your subscription and are not commercial messages. Behavioural advertising
As described above, we may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertising or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Do not track
Please note that we do not alter the Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us using the information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident, please note that we process your information in order to fulfil any contracts we have with you (for example, if you place an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests as described above. Your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Children's privacy
This Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided information through this Site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. We retain records as required by Canadian tax and business law.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
